Thoughts on Good and Quiet

Source:chriscabe.com

“Teach me, and I will be quiet.” Job 6:24

I haven't posted in almost a month because the only writing I've been doing is to-do lists and grocery lists. We’re about to celebrate our forth and youngest child’s high school graduation with an open house.  Due to our move I haven't hosted a party in almost two years so I'm out of practice! Hopefully when friends show up on Sunday afternoon they'll find a relatively clean house and prepared food.

Instead of blogging,  God has been telling me to just be quiet, listen more, and tuck memories of my baby girl's graduation  away in my heart and mind to write about later. The next week will include Prom, lots of parties, Baccalaureate, the last day of school, graduation, grad night, Father’s Day and a friend’s wedding.

Although I haven’t been writing, I have been reading. I highly recommend Grace for the Good Girl by Emily P. Freeman. The book is available on Amazon, Lifeway, B & N and Family Christian. The author is hosting a book club online this summer. I’d love to get a conversation started with other “good girls” who are kind enough to follow See Jane Learn. Let me know if you’re interested in studying this book with me over the summer.

In His Grip, Jane
